Here are some links to other sites that help biodiversity in Stratherrick and the Highlands of Scotland.
Inverness Bat Group
The Inverness Bat Group was formed in 1996 and exists to investigate, protect and to promote interest in these remarkable, but often misunderstood, mammals. Based throughout the Inverness area members carry out surveys, public engagement activities and educational work. We run a programme of bat walks, talks and other activities throughout the year. Stratherrick and Foyers Community Trust
Here you will find lots of news and information that, hopefully, you will find interesting and helpful. It features a lot of information from the Trust. You will also find that it is used by other organisations in the area to keep you up-to-date on their news; the site is a resource that can be used as a communication channel by everyone. Trees For Life
Trees for Life stands at the forefront of rewilding in the Scottish Highlands. Hopeful and bold, we are committed to creating nature-rich landscapes that include and support people. Working on a grand scale, we aim to close the gap between people and nature. Focusing on Scotland’s spectacular Caledonian forest, we foster biodiversity and encourage natural processes essential to life. From the iconic red squirrel to the elusive lynx, we are working to bring more life back to our landscapes. Trees For Life website.
